Organisers of the annual Agritech Expo have announced dates for the next farming jamboree.
The event will mark the 5th anniversary of three-day Expo hosted on the GART research farm.
“The three-day expo will feature an even greater local, regional and international presence from industry experts and solution providers showcasing their own specialised products and services to meet the needs and requirements of the regions agriculture value chain,” said Jervis Zimba, President of the Zambia National Farmers’ Union (ZNFU).
Slated for 12 – 14 April 2018, the show renowned for attracting over 270 global and regional solution and technology providers, also affords farmers networking opportunities with over 22,000 industry peers in one location.
In addition, the Expo offers access to over 40 free-to-attend workshops specially focused on advancing agri-preneurship and livestock farming with practical demos designed for all scale farmers.
Agritech encourage farmers to discover more exciting event features in 2018 which include finding the latest farming innovations ready for your farm: through the technology park, greenhouse showcase, value added zone, aquaculture showcase and live mowing and baling demonstrations.
